Soooo Worth it!
I was skeptical at first but was delighted the first night I used it in my bedroom (not small but not large either). Lowest setting is very quiet, nothing keeping me awake anymore.
It definitely cools the whole room down, I was waiting for some hotter nights here in Brisbane before I did this review. I have not once woken with a sweat. Next fan level up has what I would describe as a whooshing sound but it is not enough to disturb getting to sleep. (my other fan - not a Vornado - that worked very well, started to keep me awake with its noise after 1 year of use).
On more humid nights, I turn it on a higher setting 1-2 hours before sleeping so my room is ready for the lowest setting and sleep. I have this sitting on a small table level with bed height. Highly recommend this for purchase. The whisper quiet is a big deal at night.
